Enrolment Terms & Conditions

By enrolling onto a Corporate Training Zone course you are agreeing to the enrolment terms and conditions outlined below. If you are enrolling others onto a course, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions on their behalf and confirm that the details you enter about them are accurate at the time of entry.

Please choose your course dates carefully. Once we’ve processed your enrolment we cannot refund your entire course fee other than for the following reasons:

  • We cancel the course, or
  • We have specifically stated that there is a money back guarantee offered for that course and you have taken up the money back guarantee within the relevant money back guarantee conditions (see below).

Unless otherwise stated:

  • The advertised enrolment fee for public courses held by Corporate Training Zone includes GST.
  • The enrolment fee will cover necessary course materials, tea or coffee break refreshments and lunch.

Where an “Early bird” discount price is offered for a course, the Early bird price will only be available up until the specified cut-off date as outlined on this website or on any marketing collateral relating to that course. Unless a time is nominated, the “Early bird” expires at midnight AEST on the date that is listed.

Once payment of the course fee has been successfully processed, Corporate Training Zone will issue a receipt / Tax Invoice to the payer via email. This Tax Invoice outlines the course fees as well as listing the GST amount that was paid.

Cancellation Guidelines

We understand that there are times when people need to cancel out of courses for one reason or another. If you do wish to cancel, please notify us in writing immediately. Cancellation notifications will only be considered “received” at the time they are received in writing by Corporate Training Zone.

If we receive notification from you in writing more than six weeks prior to the course start date, we will issue a refund of the course fees (less an administration fee of $25 per cancelling participant) to the original payer. Cancellations that are received less than six weeks prior to the course start date will incur the following fees (on a per participant basis):

  • Cancellations received equal to, or within 7 days of the course start date are not refundable.
  • Cancellations received 8 to 21 days prior to the course start date will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Cancellations received 22 to 42 days prior to the course start date will incur a 25% cancellation fee.

Where cancellation is necessary, fees may be avoided by substituting another participant in your place; however, this is at the discretion of Corporate Training Zone and will incur an additional $25 administration fee. Corporate Training Zone must be advised of the details of any substitution of this type as soon as it is decided and prior to the course start date and must agree to the substitution prior to the course start date.

Payment of Fees

If the course fees have not been received in full prior to the commencement of a course, the enrolment may be cancelled and a person on our course waiting list will be offered the opportunity to enrol in this place instead. The unpaid participant will be notified prior to this cancellation occurring and will be provided with an opportunity to finalise their payment.

If a participant fails to attend a course without providing prior notice, unless there are exceptional circumstances (decided by and at the discretion of Corporate Training Zone) no course fees will be refunded and no credit for transferring to another course will be provided.

Where Corporate Training Zone deems that there have been exceptional circumstances, administration fees might be incurred for withdrawals or transfers to other Corporate Training Zone courses.

Whilst we make every endeavour to consider emergencies, we cannot accept responsibility for changes in your personal circumstances or work commitments. Exceptional circumstances are defined as serious personal considerations or illness (relevant documentation is required) and are at the discretion of Corporate Training Zone. Changes in employment circumstances are not deemed to be exceptional circumstances.

Corporate Training Zone reserves the right to change course fees, dates, content, facilitators, bonus products, guest speakers or methods of facilitation at its discretion.

Corporate Training Zone reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule courses due to low enrolments or unforeseen circumstances. In this case, enrolled participants will receive an option to transfer to another course at no cost, or a refund of their full enrolment fees (less any administration fees that have already been incurred as a result of previous transfers between courses).

Where a refund is due the enrolment payer will receive the refund via their original method of payment within 14 days. (i.e. if payer used a Visa card, Corporate Training Zone will refund back onto that Visa card.) If the original payment has been made by a method other than Credit Card, Corporate Training Zone will require adequate verification to confirm the identity and authenticity of the payer before completing the cancellation process. All refunds will be paid directly to the person who paid for the enrolment. Administration fees, such as those incurred when transferring to another course, are not refundable.

Transferring between Courses

If you have enrolled on a course but need to transfer to a different course date, you may do so provided that the course you want to transfer onto:

  • Is the same course or program that you are currently enrolled in
  • Has not already commenced or concluded
  • Has adequate places available
  • Starts within 6 months of your original course start date.

All transfers are at the discretion of Corporate Training Zone and unless otherwise specified, will incur a $25 administration fee to process the transfer, plus additional course fees if the new course fee is higher. Should the fee for the new course be less than the originally enrolled course, no course fees will be refunded.

If a participant advises Corporate Training Zone that they wish to transfer out of a course within the course cancellation penalty period, providing this request is acceptable to Corporate Training Zone and the transfer proceeds, the amount that would apply to a cancellation from the course at that time (see Cancellation Guidelines above) will become an administration fee and will not be refundable to that participant in future.

Money Back Guarantee

Where a Money Back Guarantee has been advertised for any of our training courses, you are entitled to receive a full 100% refund of course fees when you ask for your money back. The following conditions apply to this guarantee:

  • The Money Back Guarantee offer expires at the end of the timeframe that has been specified in the course outline, relevant marketing material and/or by the facilitator of that course. There are no exceptions.
  • The Money Back Guarantee does not apply to individuals who choose to leave the course after the Money Back Guarantee period has expired and prior to the course end time.
  • You must actively attend and participate in the course up until the time that the Money Back Guarantee timeframe expires (i.e. if the guarantee is set at the end of the first day, you must attend the first day in its entirety, and advise the Course Facilitator that you want to take up the Money Back Guarantee offer prior to leaving the venue on the first day). If you have advised that you wish to cancel or transfer out of the course prior to the course start date and within the course cancellation penalty period the Money Back Guarantee no longer applies.
  • You must be present during the training session and up until the Money Back Guarantee timeframe expires to be eligible for the Money Back Guarantee.
  • If you decide to accept the Money Back Guarantee, you agree to immediately surrender to the Facilitator all course materials, bonus products and any other resources associated with the training course that have been provided by Corporate Training Zone.
  • You must complete a Money Back Guarantee Agreement form provided by the Course Facilitator and return the form to them before leaving the training venue.
  • Once you have notified the Facilitator that you wish to accept the Money Back Guarantee (and you have completed and returned the Money Back Guarantee Agreement form) you cannot attend the rest of the course. Once the Course Facilitator has agreed to your Money Back Guarantee you must immediately surrender all course materials, bonus items and any other resources provided to you during the course and leave the course and the course venue straight away.
  • The money that will be refunded only includes the fees that have been paid for that course. Any payments of Administration Fees, such as those that have been incurred when transferring to another course, are not refundable and do not form part of this Money Back Guarantee.
  • Your course refund will be paid directly to the person who originally paid for the enrolment using their original method of payment (see payment of fees above). If this is not possible, Corporate Training Zone reserves the right to determine the method of payment of the refund and may require additional identity and validation information in order to ensure that the refund can be processed effectively.
  • The Money Back Guarantee is not valid for people cancelling out of a course prior to the course commencing. Should a participant advise that they wish to cancel out of, or transfer out of a course within the penalty cancellation period the Money Back Guarantee is no longer available to that participant.

Secure Payments Processing

When enrolling onto a course on the Corporate Training Zone website, prior to finalisation, you will be taken to our e-commerce partner, Suncorp Bank, to process your credit card payment. Suncorp Bank uses the latest online security technology to protect your financial information during the payment transaction. You will automatically be returned from the Suncorp Bank secure payment gateway, back to the Corporate Training Zone website. You must return to the Corporate Training Zone website to complete your enrolment process.

Where special permission has been given to allow you to pay via an alternate payment method, such as PayPal, Bank Transfer or Company Invoice, an invoice will be created and sent to you by our enrolments team. Once you receive the email you must pay the invoice immediately using the instructions provided in the email. Only when full payment has been received by Corporate Training Zone will your enrolment be considered “complete” and your course places be confirmed. At this time we will send you a receipt (Tax Invoice) and other course details as appropriate.

Where you are paying by a method other than our merchant partner, Suncorp Bank, you accept full responsibility for the processes and agreements in place with that payment method.
